Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel boost 5G SA deployment, rural coverage, enterprise solutions, spectrum strategy, and make next-gen telecom infrastructure a booming network development in India.
Top two telecom operators, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, once again have seen acceleration in their race to become 5G Standalone, and they are expanding rapidly now in rural and urban areas. Both operators are boosting coverage optimisation, shifted focus to performance and latency of their network as the rising demand for IoT connectivity, high-speed data, enterprise solutions and AR/VR services nationwide.
To ensure ultra-low latency, future-ready services for industries, private 5G networks, smart cities, and factories, Reliance Jio are upgrading thousands of existing 5G sites to SA architecture. Sources are saying Jio is doing its internal planning around increased small cell deployments and new spectrum refarming. As well as we can see internet is booming with search terms like “ultra-low latency,” “industrial IoT networks”, and “Jio 5G SA,”.
Bharti Airtel is also preparing and planning network upgrades in some targeted areas first with its Advantage strategy, 5G labs, managed services, focusing on enterprise connectivity, and cloud integration. Airtel is currently testing RedCap technology under 5G networks to support wearables, smart devices, and industrial automation. Like Jio, we can see the internet is discussing some trending search terms like “private 5G networks India,” and “Airtel 5G business solutions”.
It is now the spotlight of discussion for both operators Jio and Airtel as they both are focusing on Rural Coverage. The operators have already submitted proposals to the Department of Telecommunications to speed up the last-mile connectivity nationwide by satellite partnerships, portable mobile towers and BharatNet fibre projects. Search terms like “satellite backhaul India,” “telecom infra upgrades”, and “rural 5G expansion” are seen in trending discussions around users, investors and policymakers.
In the time of national elections and making India digital is a top priority Government is pressuring and pushing telecom giants to make better next-gen services, capacity planning, and customer experience. Operators are seen to make their decisions properly with the last-mile connectivity all over India. Telecom analysts are also expecting a big shift to 5G networks as well as integrations of AI-based network management in the future.
